Whole organisation
Organisation Admin
For the person who needs organisation-wide access across locations, users, settings, reporting, subscription, and billing.
A simple guide to choosing the right access level for admins, count leaders, and volunteer counters.
CountTrue has four main roles. Most churches can choose the right one by asking one question: what does this person need to do?
Whole organisation
For the person who needs organisation-wide access across locations, users, settings, reporting, subscription, and billing.
One location or campus
For someone who manages setup, users, services, layouts, and reporting for their own location only.
Counting workflow
For the person who leads a count, reviews submissions, and keeps the Sunday workflow moving.
Counting only
For volunteers who only need to join a count and submit attendance numbers using a Join Code.
Unlike admins and Count Leaders, volunteer Counters do not need a CountTrue account or password. They simply join a counting session using the Join Code provided for that service.
This keeps volunteer onboarding simple and avoids managing large numbers of counter accounts each week.
This table shows what each role can do. It also gives a quick overview of the main setup, counting, and reporting features available to admins.

For Location Admins, Yes means yes for their own location or campus. Organisation Admins can manage the same items across the whole organisation.
For Count Leaders, Yes means they can work with the counting workflows they have been set up to lead.
Permissions decide who can do what. The next step is working out who should count, who should review the numbers, and how your team should organise the count each week.
The guide on organising a church attendance counting team is a helpful next step.
Give broad admin access to the people who manage setup, workflow access to count leaders, and simple counting access to volunteers.
