Last updated: April 2026

1. Overview

CountTrue provides a web-based platform to help churches track attendance and manage related administrative information.

By accessing or using CountTrue, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

2. Beta Service Disclaimer

CountTrue is currently provided as a beta service. Features may change, be incomplete, or contain errors. Availability, performance, and continuity are not guaranteed during this phase.

You agree to use the platform at your own discretion while the service remains in beta.

Accounts are intended for churches and authorised church administrators or representatives.

  • You must provide accurate account and organisation information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use CountTrue lawfully and responsibly.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform

  • Misuse, abuse, reverse engineer, or probe the service improperly
  • Use the platform in a way that violates applicable laws or rights of others

5. Data and Accuracy

CountTrue provides tools to assist with attendance tracking and related workflows. The platform depends on information entered or managed by users.

  • Data entered into the platform is user-generated
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter or manage
  • CountTrue does not guarantee that attendance counts, reports, or outputs will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose

6. Anonymous Counters and Participants

CountTrue may allow certain participants, such as volunteer counters, to access parts of the service without creating named user accounts.

The church or account owner is responsible for managing access methods such as event codes, links, or invitations and for ensuring they are used appropriately.

7. Fees and Billing

CountTrue may introduce paid plans or billing features. If paid services are offered, billing may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, and additional pricing or billing terms may apply.

Until paid plans are introduced, access may be provided on a trial, beta, or discretionary basis.

8. Third-Party Services

CountTrue relies on third-party providers to operate the platform, which may include hosting, authentication, analytics, messaging, and payment services.

  • Firebase / Google Cloud
  • Google Analytics
  • Resend or similar email delivery providers
  • Stripe for billing and payments when enabled

We are not responsible for downtime, errors, or policy decisions of third-party services.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free functionality, or ongoing support for any feature.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, especially during beta testing.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CountTrue is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, inaccurate attendance figures, service interruptions, or indirect or consequential loss.

You use the platform at your own risk.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to CountTrue if these Terms are breached, the service is misused, or continued access creates risk to the platform or other users.

You may stop using the service at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CountTrue after an update is posted means you accept the updated Terms.
